Shahada/ Witness:-
The Shahada is the first of the Five Pillars of Islam.
Sincere recitation of this confession of faith before of two Muhammadan Muslims is the sole requirement for those who wish to join the Muhammadan community. It represents acceptance not only of Allah and his prophet, but of the entirety of Islam. As one of the Pillars, the Shahada must be recited correctly aloud with full understanding and internal assent at least once in every Muhammadan's lifetime.
The Shahada is the Muhammadan's testament of faith, expressing the two simple, fundamental beliefs that make one a Muhammadan Muslim:
It is actually made up of two portions:
"La Ilah Illa Allah, wa Muhammad Rassulu^ ALLah"
which transltes to-
"There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah".
In the Quran, the two parts are mentioned separately (47:19 & 48:29) and not in tandem:
47: 19 Know therefore that there is no God [Ilah] but Allah and ask forgiveness for the fault and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes……... 28 It is He who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Religion of Truth to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness.
48: 29 Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah….."
The latter was finalised as part of Islamic ritual and a key part of Muhammadan Muslim identity on or about the second century after the Hijra, c. 832CE (about 200 years after the death of Muhammad).
The Shahada - like so many other, concepts, precepts and 'traditions' of Muhammadan Islam- is only a re-statement in a modified form of the Jewish Shema-
Deut. 6:4 "Shema Yisrael, Adonai Elohenou, Adonai Ehad"
which is translated to:
"Hear O Israel, the Lord God, is One Lord".
This simple sentence is repeated by every Jew (whether observant or not) as a witness to his faith in the belief in the One and Only God.
Even in this case, the Shahada of the Jew can be made similar to that of the Muhammadan by pronouncing the following:
"La Ilah Illa ^lilah, wa Mousa Kalimul^Ilah"
translated to:
"There is no God but God, and Moses is the speaker to God"
This unwavering Hebrew belief in the One and Only God is reflected in the following Quranic copy cat verses.
3: 18 There is no God [Ilah] but He: that is the witness of Allah His angels and those endued with knowledge standing firm on justice. There is no God [Ilah] but He the Exalted in Power the Wise.
112: 1 "Say: He is Allah the One and Only…"
It is extremely important to point out that it was Muhammad who METAMORPHOSED Allah - which was only the NAME of the pagan supreme rock god of the Quraysh in Mecca, embedded into the corner wall of the Ka'ba, called the Black Stone - into the God of Israel.
Before Muhammad, the pagan Arabs were polytheists and Allah was only one god among hundreds of others all be it as one of the most important.
Allah was and is only the proper name of the Black Stone just as Jupiter and Zeus were the names of the gods of Rome and Greece.
In fact, according to the Bible, the God of Israel had and has no name - and most certainly NOT Allah.
It is prohibited for a religious Jew to use the term God under any circumstances since he is forbidden from calling His name in vain. Even in print they write G-d instead of God.
On the other hand, Allah, the presumed same as the God of Israel, is mentioned in vain by every Muhammadan Muslim tens if not hundreds of times a day.
If for a moment we equate Allah with the God of Israel, then the Shahada of a Jew will be-
" There is no God but Allah, and Moses was the speaker to Allah"
which in Arabic will be-
" La Ilah illa^lAllah, wa Mousa kalimu^Allah"
*** Contrary to all the efforts of Muhammad and his followers to show otherwise, the Quran does not contain a SINGLE new PRACTICAL, INTELLECTUAL and SPIRITUAL CONCEPT, PRECEPT, THOUGHT or IDEA that in any way shape or form is equal to or superior to those that it PLAGIARISED, PIRATED, PLUNDERED and/or PERVERTED from the Bible and Hebrew Scriptures ***
